Scary Sad Story!! Fake Land Owner Who Killed His Friend & Real Estate Agent Over N9M (pics & graphic video)
This story is not fiction but a true life story, we should be careful out there .
A certain man called George from Bayelsa state called a certain young man named Richard who is a land agent in Bayelsa , he was the vice president of real estate agents in Bayelsa before his demise.
Mr George approached Richard in June that he had an urgent need and wanted to sell his land to meet the need , he said the land was going to be for N9million and all documents to the landed property was intact and with him that he should help him look for buyers of which Richard agreed .
Fast forward to July , he eventually got buyers who were interested in the property, so they scheduled to meet and see the property, as soon as the representative of the buyer saw the land , they liked it and proceeded to make payments immediately.
They transferred N9million to Mr George who was the land owner and requested for the land documents but Mr George said he forgot the documents in port harcourt as he never knew they would like to pay immediately.
He promised to get the documents the following day as soon as he gets to port harcourt, after much argument because the buyer insisted they must have the documents before leaving, Mr Richard ( the land agent ) convinced the buyers that he would get the documents for them as he has known Mr George for years now , so the buyers left.
The next day , Mr Richard called Mr George to get the documents so that he can hand it over to the buyer but kept on giving excuses. From one excuse to another .
After much persuasion from the buyers , one day Mr George’s girlfriend called Mr Richard to meet them ( she and Mr George) at one hotel so as to pick up the documents
So he went to the hostel to meet them , and from the hotel they drove off to the land . Meanwhile, Mr Richard became incommunicado, you can’t call him but can only chat him on WhatsApp, his wife tried chatting him and asking him why he wasn’t coming home for days now, he only replied thru chat that there is something he is trying to put together before coming home.
Meanwhile the buyers kept on calling Mr Richard in respect to the documents but he was only responding thru test messages, so they reported the incident to the police and Mr George was arrested and he told the police that he wasn’t interested in selling the land again and have refunded the N9million to Mr Richard
The buyers called Richard’s wife to tell her that Mr Richard have received the cash and on the run when Richard’s wife chatted Richard asking him why he had to abandon her because of the little money that entered his hand . The supposedly Richard told her that he absconded with the money and wasn’t going to come back
His wife , kept on begging him to come home that she had also saved some money for business, immediately Mr Richard now asked her to come see her in the hotel where he is and even sent her #15,000 for transport.
The day the wife was supposed to go see him , she developed fever and couldn’t go and her instincts started telling her that something is wrong, the husband only chat her on WhatsApp but never picks his call which is strange so she went to the police to report that the husband has been missing.
One of the days , the president of rest estate agents Bayelsa called her to inquire about her husband Richard who was his vice president. He also complained that Richard hasn’t been picking his calls too .
One day he went out for site inspection in one of the lands, on getting close to a particular land , a farmer halted him and told him not to go into the land that something strange happened on the land few days back. That he heard three gunshots in the land after which he saw a car drove off immediately from the land, he quickly captured the plate number of the vehicle,snapped and showed it to the President real estate agents.
The president, took the plate number to the police to run search on it to see who owns it . The plate number was later traced to Mr George the supposed land owner. Which means he kpaid Mr Richard in the bush allegedly.
So the Bayelsa police team with the assistance of the commissioner of police began a search for Mr George who was currently on the run, he was finally traced to Lagos state where he was planning to travel out from there. He was caught and on going thru his account to see people he sent money to, one million naira was transferred to a female and o tracing the person, they found out it was his girlfriend, the one who called Mr Richard to meet them at the hostel. Meanwhile this Mr George is married ooo
The police traced her to her house and found out that she had packed all her things into a van and was about running when she was caught, she was searched and lots of items like ; guns, bullets etc were found on her.
Currently both she and Mr George have been arrested and awaiting trial..
What a sad story Rest in peace to Mr Richard.
