Sad!! Watch The Moment Male Ex Lover Killed Shakeia Allen (pic & video)
It was a tumultuous relationship that ended in murder.
Amir Johnson, 24, is wanted for the murder of Shakeia Allen, according to the Baltimore County Police Department.
Johnson has been on the run for nearly three months.
According to police, the fatal shooting occurred in an apartment complex in Pikesville on April 21, 2024.
A neighbor captured the incident on their cell phone. The video has since gone viral online and has sparked the #JusticeforShakeia.
In the viral video you can see a man following Shakeia in the parking lot of the apartment complex.
The man can be heard saying, “You ain’t going to do nothing but get yourself in trouble, bro.”
Shakeia can be heard responding, “I have a restraining order on you.”
The man replies, “Call the police.”
Shakeia is then heard screaming and even warning the man that he’s being recorded.
The neighbor recording the dispute begins to scream at the man to leave her alone.
“He’s got a gun,” screams Shakeia.
Seconds later Shakeia is shot three times, then once more.
The gunman walks out of frame.
911 begins receiving several calls obtained by Maryland’s Most Wanted.
Dispatch: “They’re advising that a female has been shot. 1 Whitelaw Place. 1 Whitelaw Place. Victim is a black female, 20 years of age”
Dispatch: “Another caller called in and said they saw a black male, dark do-rag and a black shirt shoot the woman.”
Officer: “Is the suspect still on scene?”
Dispatch: “It sounds like the male party ran. He’s got the gun in his hands.”
Officers, an aviation unit, and K-9 were all dispatched to the scene.
There, Shakeia is pronounced dead.
Baltimore County Police canvassed the area looking for the shooter, who they soon realize has already fled the scene.
Investigators begin collecting evidence and interviewing neighbors.
Some people had witnessed the murder, heard the shots, or watched the shooter leave the scene.
“I heard pop pop pop,” said Jessica Hayostek, back in April. “I thought it was firecrackers. It was not. I went to the window and I saw a guy walking very casually with a gun in his hand and that’s when I said I’m going to call 911 now because it was a shooting and not fireworks.”
Baltimore County Police later identified the shooter as Amir Johnson, who was later learned to be Shakeia’s former boyfriend.
Just two and a half months before her murder Shakeia posted to her TikTok a video the couple recorded while out to eat.
But court records show trouble had already been brewing in the relationship.
In August 2023 the couple filed civil domestic violence complaints against one another.
Records show a judge granted temporary protective orders, but the case was later dismissed because both parties failed to appear in court.
Six months later, in February 2024 Johnson was charged with misdemeanor assault.
According to the statement of charges, he and Allen had been involved in a days long dispute that had turned physical.
In the document, investigators detailed at the time police were called Johnson “had a registered handgun holstered inside his waistband” and even though it was not mentioned or used during the incident Johnson “consented for the handgun to be removed from the residence for safe keeping.”
Court records show Johnson’s trial in the case was scheduled for April 29th, eight days after Shakeia’s murder.
The defendant never showed in court.
Investigators have since announced a $2,000 reward for information leading to Johnson’s arrest.
