Olumuyiwa.com.ng Is 10: 10Years In The Game & Going Strong

Waoh

See what the Lord has done

We are 10yrs today, it’s only You (God) that can do it.

Let me tell you a little bit of our story

2015 was an election year in Nigeria, the ruling party PDP, due to her intransigence and arrogance, took many Nigerians for a ride for 16yrs.

There was this emerging coalition of opposition party APC that was challenging the ruling party. Unfortunately, the new party had no philosophy or ideology, it was and still a party of propaganda spreading lies, half truths and untruths.

I was disturbed and I saw the danger of allowing these bunch of hungry, vindictive and power thirsty gang that wanted to grab power not for the common good but for selfish interests to continue spreading lies.

People that are very close to me, I mean my family members, friends and associates knew me as a reclusive and “minding his business”type. The lies were just too much that I had to come out of my shell to set the record straight

This made me to launch this blog after my name on September 1, 2015. It was not borne out of pecuniary gains but to educate and sensitise Nigerians that were being deceived and misled by this ruling party that later won the election.

This blog is self funded, it has no “big man” or a politician that’s financing us and that’s why our thoughts and editorials cannot be tainted or coloured

I will give you a clear example that cannot be contested that APC is a fraud!

In January 2012, former President Goodluck Jonathan removed the fuel subsidy that was draining our resources.

The leaders of APC led by late Muhammadu Buhari (who ruled and nearly destroyed our country for 8yrs), Bola Ahmed Tinubu (the current President), Pastor Tunde Bakare, Professor Wole Soyinka, other notable and prominent Nigerians resisted it. Jonathan backtracked and sustained “this waste”.

11yrs later precisely May 29th 2023, the current President Tinubu removed what was called a “fraud” by his gang on the day of inauguration, without any back up plan.

A policy that should have been done when our economy was buoyant to sustain the shock was being forced down our throat when the whole world was in recession. This singular action has pauperised Nigerian where till today, many go to bed hungry.

Only God knows when we are going to recover, as a nation from this deliberate indiscretion. Nigeria that used to be largest economy in Africa is currently struggling to feed her citizens. We have regressed within this past 10yrs that smaller African nations have left us behind.

Have I been proven right by my conviction of establishing this blog in pursuit of truth and facts
