Okuama Massacre: Residents Are Now Living In The Forest (pics)

On March 14, the Commanding Officer of the 181 Amphibious Battalion, two majors, one captain, and 13 soldiers were killed at Okuama community in Ughelli South Local Government Area, Delta State.

That was 21 days ago. For those number of days, the residents of the community have been living in the forest. This is just as the Army hunts the killers.

Although the Chief of Defense Staff, General Christopher Musa, identified “General” Endurance Amagbein as the mastermind, the residents have been told it is not time to return home yet.

These photos, exclusive to Vanguard, show the Okuama residents’ lives in the forest. Away from home.
