Nigerian activist Adetoun Onajobi has chosen to share the story of how she spent an extended period lying next to her father’s lifeless body after his passing a few years ago.

Adetoun Onajobi, speaking in a recent interview with Chude Jideonwo, shared that her father, who passed away, was a member of the Ogboni Fraternity, and she was present during his final moments.

Adetoun Onajobi revealed that she slept beside her deceased father nightly, stating that she received numerous invitations from witchcraft leaders and experienced 14 miscarriages.

According to her own words, Adetoun Onajobi stated that;

“I was sleeping with my father’s dead body. When he was alive he was an Ogboni member. He died in my hands and every night I go to sleep with his dead body. I have been invited by the leaders of witchcraft before, not once not twice. I had 14 miscarriages.”

She also disclosed that her father abandoned her with the late Prophet TB Joshua, the founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations, when she was a child. She said that her father did this because she was the one who informed him of her grandmother’s death, and he believed that she had a prophetic gift.

Adetoun Onajobi is the author of the book “The Girl Who Slept with Her Father’s Corpse,” recounting her life journey and triumph over adversities.

Beyond being an author, she actively champions women’s rights, expressing her desire for her narrative to serve as an inspiration for those facing comparable struggles, guiding them toward healing and liberation.
