Last Minute Conversations Between Killed Nollywood Movie Producer Turned Kidnapper & His Gang Before They Struck At Ladipo

In a plot straight out of a movie, the Lagos State Police recently uncovered the shocking involvement of Nollywood actor and producer, Prince Henry Ode, in a notorious kidnapping ring. The gang’s nefarious activities came to light following a daring operation by the Lagos State Commissioner of Police Special Squad, led by Kehinde Oni, which culminated in a deadly shootout that neutralized the kidnappers.

According to Vanguard News reports, The gang meticulously planned their operations, with one member stationed inside a busy auto spare parts market on the Oshodi-Apapa expressway to monitor their target. This insider provided real-time updates on the victim’s movements, setting the stage for the kidnapping. However, unknown to the gang, detectives were already on their trail, thanks to strategic positioning by the state Commissioner of Police, Adegoke Fayoade.

Vital digital and electronic information obtained by the detectives revealed the details of the gang’s planning and communication. A voice-recorded conversation in Igbo between Prince Ode and the market-based gang member disclosed their coordination efforts. The conversation detailed how the insider tracked the victim’s movements and how Ode reprimanded him for not being more precise and for drinking excessively.

The Nollywood actor’s double life astonished both the public and his industry colleagues. Prince Ode cleverly avoided arrest and public scrutiny by playing various roles within the gang, often acting as a sharpshooter or lone ranger during operations.

His victims, confined in separate locations, frequently heard the sounds of film rehearsals, adding an eerie twist to their harrowing ordeal.
