Globus Bank Employee, Amarachi Ugochukwu Found Dead In Ikorodu Office, Leaving Suicide Notes (pics)

In a tragic and suspected suicide incident, Amarachi Ugochukwu, a 32-year-old marketing staff member of Globus Bank in Ikorodu, Lagos, was discovered lifeless in the staff toilet on January 8, around 1 pm.

Independent gathered via social media that the discovery was made when her colleagues initiated a search upon hearing her phone ring with no one to answer it.

Upon forcibly opening the door, which was locked from inside, Amarachi Ugochukwu was discovered dead alongside an empty medium-sized snipper bottle. The distressing scene included a notebook containing a heart-wrenching note that expressed the struggles she faced in her life.

In the note, Amarachi detailed the challenges she grappled with, stating: “NOTHING IS WORKING IN MY LIFE,” “MY FIGURES ARE LOW,” “MY BRAIN IS CLOGGED UP,” “THE ECONOMY IS GETTING HARDER,” “MY DECISIONS ARE WRONG,” and “MY MIND IS MESSED UP.”

The emotional note continued with an admission of the perceived bleak future, expressing extreme hardship, and a plea to God.

She said, “I’M SORRY MOM, I’M SORRY DAD, I’M SORRY NENE, OKWE, TUTONAZOR, CHUCHU, IFUNANYA.” The final plea echoed a desperate cry for mercy: “DEAR LORD HAVE MERCY ON ME!”
