Nigerian comedian AY Makun has broken silence amid claims of shunning his ex-wife, Mabel’s mother’s burial. The burial ceremony took place in the Ikoyi area of Lagos, where friends, family, and celebrities gathered to pay their last respects.
Videos or photos of AY Makun at the burial venue weren’t sighted on the internet which triggered backlashes from netizens who accused the comedian of not being present.
However, amid the criticism, AY took to his IG page where he posted a photo of himself and his brother. The duo wore black outfits and sunshades as they posed for the camera.
Captioning the photo, the comedian wrote:
