“Lie Has No Legs”, Mohbad’s Friend, Orezzy Slams Sam Larry’s Denial Of Assault (pic)

As public interest surrounding the tragic death of Nigerian singer Mohbad (Ilerioluwa Aloba) continues to intensify, Oladapo Oreoluwa, better known as Lifestyle of Orezzy and a close friend of the late artist, has fired back at show promoter Sam Larry over his recent public denial of ever assaulting Mohbad.

Sam Larry had earlier appeared in a trending interview with controversial activist VeryDarkMan, where he attempted to clear his name from the cloud of controversy that has loomed over him since Mohbad’s death in September 2023.

“I never touched Mohbad in my life,” Sam Larry stated in the interview, addressing the infamous viral video showing him confronting the singer over a performance refund.

Orezzy Claps Back: “Lie Has No Leg”

Orezzy wasted no time in rejecting Larry’s version of events. Taking to his Instagram Stories, he accused the show promoter of lying and warned that karma would catch up with anyone attempting to twist the truth.

“Lie has no leg. It can’t run for long. Truth will eventually run over it. Karma is real. Everything we sow we shall reap,” Orezzy wrote.

In a follow-up post, he shared a clip showing Mohbad in a car with visible bruises on his face, sarcastically questioning Sam Larry’s denial of abuse.

“Shebi na skin care dem rub am in this picture abi? Dem no touch am. The bruises just appear out of the cloud,” he added, implying the injuries were from physical assault — not coincidental or self-inflicted.

The Viral Video & Public Fallout

The beachside confrontation video between Sam Larry and Mohbad resurfaced shortly after the singer’s death, sparking nationwide outrage and widespread belief that the singer had been bullied and harassed in the industry.

While Sam Larry insists the video was taken out of context, and that Zlatan Ibile helped de-escalate the situation peacefully, many fans — and now, close friends like Orezzy — aren’t buying the explanation.

Calls for Justice Continue

The Lagos State Government has since conducted an autopsy on Mohbad’s remains, though the final results have not yet been released. The case remains under active investigation as fans and family members continue to seek truth, justice, and accountability.
With new voices speaking up daily, the controversy surrounding Mohbad’s death is far from over. Will justice finally prevail? Nigeria watches and waits.
