The outcome of the annual bazaar and harvest 2018 of the Adoration Catholic Prayer Ministry, spearheaded by the fiery spiritual leader, Rev Fr Ejike Mbaka is still dominating national discourse.

The priest during the 2018 harvest and bazaar celebration at his Adoration Ground in Emene, reportedly asked politicians he invited to sow seed for the development of the church.

At the ceremony, Rev Fr Mbaka used the opportunity to lambast many Nigerian politicians for not doing enough to support his ministry, despite praying and standing in gap for some of them in their political aspirations. He attacked President Buhari for not sponsoring a project at the Adoration’s ground. The donation of N2m made by representative of President Buhari, Hope Uzodinma was not enough to pacify him.

Thereafter, he said both Buhari and the main challenger, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar will not win next year’s election. He made no mention of who is going to win.  Mr Peter Obi running mate of Atiku was also accused of being stingy.

The high point of the event was the invitation of Governor Abdulahi Ganduje of Kano state to ‘sow seed’ to God’s altar. Ganduje a Muslim, was enmeshed in a bribery scandal where His excellency was caught on camera receiving kickbacks from contractors handling projects in the state.

Reno Omokri, former aide to former president Goodluck Jonathan, has ‘attacked’ the Spiritual Director of the Adoration Catholic Prayer Ministry, Enugu Nigeria, Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka for asking Kano state governor Abdullahi Ganduje to ‘sow seed’ to God’s altar

In his reaction, Omokri said accused Reverend Mbaka of inviting Ganduje, who has been accused of collecting kick backs from contractors, with video evidence, to the ‘House of God.’

According to Omokri, ‘this is the same Mbaka who asked Nigerians to reject PDP and vote for the APC in 2015. In a few tweets on Monday, stressed that it was wrong to invite Ganduje to sow ‘stolen funds’ to the alter of God.
